Salary scale, as set out in the 2024 National Agreement on Salaries and Conditions of Service of Local Councils in England and Wales is starting at LCP2 SCP 21 pro rata (depending on experience and qualifications) plus NEST pension

Arthuret Parish Council is seeking a highly motivated, proactive individual for the role of Parish Clerk. This is an exciting opportunity and would suit a community minded individual who has the relevant experience to undertake an interesting and varied post within an active parish council.

The role requires someone with the confidence and interpersonal skills to deal with a wide range of individuals from the local and wider communities. The ideal candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills, be computer literate and also have the ability to work on their own initiative. Strong management and organizational skills are required, together with a positive outlook.

Ideally the successful candidate will have a CILCA qualification, however, training will be considered where required.

Arthuret Parish Council has taken the decision to separate the role of the Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer. It is now seeking a highly motivated, proactive individual for the role of Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) This is an exciting opportunity and would suit a community minded individual who has the relevant experience to undertake an interesting and varied post within an active parish council.

The role requires someone with the confidence and interpersonal skills to deal with a wide range of individuals from the local and wider communities. The ideal candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills, be computer literate and also have the ability to work on their own initiative. Strong financial management, and organizational skills are required, together with a positive outlook.

Ideally the successful candidate will have a CILCA qualification, however, training will be considered where required.
